What's New at Tom's Dive & Swim This Summer?
Alba Salvat Jun 21, 2026
Summer diving season is here, and that means many of us are thinking about our next trip, our next class, and maybe even our next gear upgrade.
Whether you're preparing for a local dive, planning an upcoming vacation, or simply looking for ways to improve your experience underwater, we've added some exciting new products to the shop that are worth a closer look.
From powerful dive lights to advanced dive computers and useful accessories, there is plenty to explore this season.
Bright News: ORCATORCH Lights Have Arrived
A good dive light can completely change how you experience a dive.
Whether you're exploring a wreck, peering into a rocky crevice, searching for hidden marine life, or participating in a night dive, proper lighting allows you to see details that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Tom's Dive & Swim is now carrying ORCATORCH dive lights.
Known for their reliability, brightness, and ease of use, ORCATORCH lights have become a popular choice among recreational, technical, and underwater photography divers alike.
If you're considering adding a primary or backup light to your dive kit, stop by the shop and let us help you find the right option for your style of diving.
Upgrade Your Dive Computer Game
One of the most significant advancements in recreational diving over the past decade has been the evolution of dive computers.
Tom's is stocked with Shearwater dive computers, including the popular Peregrine models as well as systems featuring Air Integration (AI) technology.
If you've never used air integration before, it is worth taking a closer look.
Air-integrated computers communicate directly with a transmitter attached to your regulator's first stage, allowing tank pressure information to be displayed directly on your computer. Instead of checking separate gauges, key information is available at a glance.
Many divers find that air integration improves awareness and simplifies dive monitoring, particularly during longer dives or more complex dive profiles.
Curious about how it works?
Stop by the shop and ask one of our team members. We'll be happy to explain the technology and help you determine whether it might be a good fit for your diving.
New Accessories for Your Dive Kit
Sometimes the smallest upgrades make the biggest difference.
We've recently added a variety of new scuba accessories to the shop, including clips, spools, gear organization tools, and other dive essentials designed to help keep your equipment streamlined and easy to manage.
Good equipment organization improves comfort, reduces clutter, and helps divers spend more time enjoying the dive and less time searching for equipment.
Whether you're refreshing your current setup or preparing for an upcoming trip, it's a great opportunity to take a fresh look at your gear configuration.
More Than Equipment
Of course, gear is only part of the story.
At Tom's Dive & Swim, we enjoy helping divers find the right equipment, but we also enjoy helping them become more capable and confident in the water.
If you're considering new training, preparing for a dive trip, or looking for recommendations on equipment that fits your goals, we're always happy to help.
The best gear is the gear that helps you dive more comfortably, more confidently, and more often.
