Where Are We Diving Next?

Dave Harrah   Jun 21, 2026

School is out, the days are getting longer, and divers are starting to think about their next adventure.

There is something about summer that naturally turns our attention toward travel. Maybe it is the warmer weather. Maybe it is the anticipation of seeing someplace new. Or maybe it is simply the desire to spend more time underwater.

Whatever the reason, this is the season when many divers begin planning their next great dive trip.

At Tom's Dive & Swim, we believe dive travel is one of the most rewarding experiences our sport has to offer. A great trip is about far more than the destination itself. It is about the people you meet, the experiences you share, and the memories that stay with you long after you return home.

Why Dive Travel Matters

There is a reason many divers point to a trip as the moment their diving truly changed.

When you spend several consecutive days diving, something happens. Skills become more natural. Confidence grows. Awareness improves. You become more comfortable in the water and more capable as a diver.

Travel also exposes us to new environments, new marine life, and new perspectives.

Every destination teaches something different.

Some offer dramatic walls and deep blue water. Others provide incredible marine life encounters. Some deliver vibrant coral reefs while others reveal fascinating wrecks or volcanic underwater landscapes.

The common thread is simple: every trip expands your experience as a diver.

Dominica: The Nature Island

This December, we'll return to one of the Caribbean's most unique destinations.

Known as the "Nature Island," Dominica combines lush volcanic landscapes, warm tropical waters, and outstanding diving. It is a place where dramatic underwater terrain, healthy reefs, and abundant marine life create memorable experiences both above and below the surface.

For divers looking to escape the holiday rush and explore a truly special destination, Dominica offers a warm and welcoming alternative.

Looking Ahead to 2027

Our travel calendar for next year is already taking shape.

Grand Cayman remains one of the most popular dive destinations in the Caribbean, offering crystal-clear water, dramatic wall diving, and world-famous sites that belong on every diver's bucket list.

Fiji, often referred to as the "Soft Coral Capital of the World," offers some of the most colorful and vibrant diving anywhere on the planet. Strong currents, healthy reefs, and extraordinary biodiversity combine to create an unforgettable experience.

And we're not finished yet.

Two additional destinations are currently in development and will be announced soon. If you're already dreaming about your next adventure, keep an eye on your inbox and our social media channels.

Why Travel With Tom's?

One of the biggest advantages of traveling with Tom's Dive & Swim is that you are never traveling alone.

Many divers find that the hardest part of planning a trip is not choosing the destination. It is figuring out the logistics, finding dive buddies, and navigating all the details that come with international travel.

When you travel with Tom's, much of that work has already been done.

You travel with people who share your interests. You dive with familiar faces. You benefit from the experience of trip leaders who have often visited these destinations before. Most importantly, you become part of a community that makes travel easier, more comfortable, and more enjoyable.

For many divers, those shared experiences become the highlight of the trip.

Join Us at Travel Night

The best way to learn more about upcoming destinations is to attend one of our Travel Night events.

These informal gatherings provide an opportunity to learn about current and future trips, ask questions, view destination information, and meet other divers who may be considering the same adventure.

Whether you're ready to book your next trip or simply gathering ideas for the future, Travel Night is a great place to start.

Keep an eye on your inbox and social media channels for announcements about upcoming Travel Night events.

The next adventure may be closer than you think.
