New Regulator System: Mares Planet 88X

We’ve added the Mares Planet 88X regulator system to our lineup — featuring Mares’ Airmatic second stage paired with the proven 88X first stage. We’ve added the Mares Planet 88X regulator system to our lineup — a rugged, cold‑water‑capable first stage paired with smooth, dependable second‑stage performance.

The Airmatic second stage is built around Natural Breathing 2.0, delivering smooth, consistent airflow that feels easy and natural throughout the dive. The design emphasizes reliability and comfort, helping reduce breathing effort whether you’re cruising shallow reefs or diving in cooler or more demanding conditions.
Combined with the robust 88X first stage, the Planet 88X system is focused on dependable performance, strong thermal characteristics, and long‑term durability. It’s a solid option for divers looking for a regulator they can trust across a wide range of environments without unnecessary complexity.

If you’re considering your first regulator or planning a long‑term upgrade, the Planet 88X is worth seeing in person. Stop by the shop to take a closer look and talk through whether it fits the kind of diving you want to do.
New Course: Diver Stress & Rescue + React Right
We’ve combined two of the most valuable confidence‑building programs into one streamlined training path: Diver Stress & Rescue and React Right.
Diver Stress & Rescue focuses on recognizing stress early, stopping small problems before they escalate, and responding calmly and effectively for yourself and your dive buddy.
React Right adds real‑world emergency response skills — including First Aid, CPR, AED, and Oxygen — so when action is required, you’re prepared rather than guessing.
If you want your next dives to feel calmer, more controlled, and more confident, this combined program is one of the best investments you can make in your diving.
New Event: Bubble Hour (Local Fun Dive Series)
Bubble Hour is our relaxed, mid‑week local dive series — designed to keep you in the water, build experience, and enjoy diving with familiar faces.
The season opener begins Wednesday, April 29 at Mansfield Dam Park on Lake Travis, with additional dates continuing throughout the season.
Expect an easy pace, simple plans, and a strong sense of community. Please RSVP so we know who to expect.
