A great trip whatever your logbook looks like
Belize's warm, clear water and gentle reef diving suit divers at every stage. Newer divers and seasoned divers dive the same sites, and our team helps everyone get comfortable in the water. Come as you are and dive at your own pace.
Sharks, turtles, and rays as regular buddies
The Hol Chan Marine Reserve and its shark and ray alley put you face to face with the animals most divers travel for. Turtles and eagle rays are part of an ordinary day in the water here.
A blue hole you can see from space
The Great Blue Hole is one of the most recognizable dive sites on earth. Add the world's second largest barrier reef, and Belize checks off sites that stay on a diver's list for a lifetime.
Warm Water, Big Animals, and a Reef That Runs for Miles.
Belize sits on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the largest reef system in the Western Hemisphere and the second largest in the world. From Ambergris Caye you are minutes from marked sites inside the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, where the reef, the wall, and the famous shark and ray alley all sit close together. Water temperatures stay in the 80s and visibility commonly runs 50 to 100 feet.
The Sunbreeze Hotel sits in San Pedro on Ambergris Caye, steps from the water and the dive dock. Days are built around morning boat diving, with the reservation covering three days of two-tank diving and two days of three-tank diving. Full American breakfast is included daily, and all hotel and dive taxes and service charges are handled for you.
The Great Blue Hole and Hol Chan Marine Reserve.
The Great Blue Hole is a near-perfect circular sinkhole more than 400 feet across, ringed by reef and dropping into deep blue. It is a bucket-list dive that draws divers from around the world, and it is available as an optional excursion on this trip.
Closer to the resort, the Hol Chan Marine Reserve protects a stretch of reef where marine life concentrates. Its shark and ray alley is one of the most reliable places in the Caribbean to dive alongside nurse sharks and southern stingrays, with turtles, eagle rays, and healthy reef fish rounding out nearly every dive.

Your reservation includes the round-trip air transfer from Belize International to San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. International airfare to Belize is not included. Tom's recommends booking flights as soon as your spot is confirmed.
The Great Blue Hole is offered as an optional excursion and is not included in the base package price. Let us know if you would like to add it and we will help you arrange it.
International flights, the Blue Hole excursion, marine park fees, additional dives beyond the included days, unspecified meals and beverages, personal dive equipment, and gratuities are not included.
Perfect Buoyancy and Nitrox are the courses that most improve the Belize experience. Strong buoyancy protects the reef and makes multi-dive days easier, and Nitrox helps with repetitive dives and diver safety. Perfect Buoyancy →
Dive accident insurance and trip cancellation insurance are strongly recommended for all Tom's trips, and especially for international travel. Neither is included in the package price. Typical travel insurance policies include protection from unforseen medical or weather events.
